The city of Istanbul is really fascinating with its museums, churches, palaces, mosques, natural parks, restaurants, shopping malls. It was selected the cultural capital of Europe in 2010.

Also one of the most famous landmarks of Istanbul is The Princess Island, where you can make such an interesting trip, further more Taksim Square which is one of the most important centers in Istanbul. The best known street in Taksim is Istiklal Street where you can find, window shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, bookshops and more.

Bursa

Bursa is one of the most famous cities in Turkey, Known as “Green Bursa”, this province stands on the lower slopes of Uludag in the Marmara region of Anatolia. The title “Green” of Bursa comes from its gardens, parks and of course from its being in the middle of an important fruit growing region.

In Bursa there are things you should not miss like the mineral-rich springs; indeed most of the hotels in this province have thermal bath facilities. The Turkish baths (Hammam) are great places which should be visited inBursa.

Trabzon

Trabzon one of the Turkish central cities and the biggest in the Eastern Black Sea region, it is mostly situated on a table like promontory above the harbor. One of the oldest remains in the city is The citadel, and the first thing you will notice when entering Trabzon, it is a well-preserved 13th century Byzantine Church, now restored as the famous Ayasofya Museum.

Trabzon is very richly adorned with sightseeing areas and precious remains from the Byzantine period. On the western slopes of the Boztepehill, is “the Boztepe Park” with a beautiful view of the city. In the village of Surmene, to the east of Trabzon, is a fascinating 19th century mansion, known as the Kastel. There are many opportunities in Trabzon to cover all tastes.

Uzungol

Uzungol city is a popular tourist destination which is located in the province of Trabzon, about 90km from the city of Trabzon. On its shore is Uzungol village with traditional wooden houses as well as modern hotels, restaurants and recreational facilities. The valley is dominated by the two minarets of the mosque on the shores of the lake.

Uzungol lies at an altitude of 1090m in the middle of the valley surrounded by mountains. The surrounding mountains are mostly covered with mixed forests. In the mountains is the number of mountain lakes and streams. Due to torrential rainfall the surroundings of Uzungöl is one of the greenest areas of Turkey. More than 60 species of local plants are endemic. The area around Uzungöl is a popular destination for hiking and climbing.
Several major tourist attractions can be mentioned in the town’s surroundings, like Tortue Waterfall about 114 km,Zilkale Castle about 68 km, Sümela Monastery about 54 km, Kaçkar Mountains about 69 km, Kaymaklı Monastery about 61 km,so you can enjoy different activities and different tastes of sightseeing in this special city.

Yalova

Province Yalova is a province in northwestern Turkey, along the Sea of Marmara .the provincial capital is the city of Yalova. The city has a number of tourist attractions such as the Atatürk Pavilion and of course its famous hot springs, you can enjoy there the beautiful flowers, visit the museums, have food -drink in one of the restaurants-cafes and more importantly you can enter swimming pool-hamam-sauna to take a bath.

Yalova Thermal has many visitors and it is a very cosmopolite place. You can observe many types of people; tourists and local people from different social levels.

Abant

Abant area which is the house of the famous beautiful Lake Abant is located in Bolu province which is approximately 200 km from Istanbul and
is famous for its verdant black pine and Scots pine trees forests (also oak, willow, hazelnut trees) and hot springs.

LakeAbant is located about 40 km from Bolu center and is at an altitude of around 1320 meters. The lake is a fresh water lake with an area of about 1.28 square kilometers formed as a result of a great landslide. The lake is under environmental protection as there is a special species of brook trout called Salmo trutta Abanticus, but you may fish in the lake for a fee. The forests around the lake offer an ideal habitat for deer and other wildlife.

Another place of interest in the Bolu/Abant area is the Yedigoller (Seven Lakes) National Park, and Golcuk, an artificial lake 11 kms south of this. You may also visit Kartalkaya in the Koroglu Mountains which is a winter ski resort in Turkey, but also
beautiful in the summer. 53 kilometers from Bolu is a place called Konuralp, which was an ancient city where you can see Roman and Byzantine art and ruins.

Sapanca

Sapanca lies in Sakarya Province which enjoys one of the most attractive touristic places which is Sapanca Lake that is located on a tectonic hole, which is situated between Izmit Bay and Adapazari Meadow and runs parallel to Iznik Lake.

Lake Sapanca is one of the few lakes in Turkey which provides drinking water. The region around Sapanca has become very important for day trips and weekend vacations with its charming natural beauty and the visitor finds a lot of activities and things to do like; staying on one of the cafes or restaurants positioned around the lake and enjoy the breathtaking view of the beautiful lake or take a round tour around the lake by car or bike.

There is also one of the most visited places in the region, Kırkpınar which is the site of numerous plant species and pristine nature.
